Transition from high school to further education can be a daunting yet exciting experience . CHARACTERISTIC OF VISUAL , AUDITORY,KINESTHETIC LEARNERS

SCORRING YOUR IVENTORY
Visual
- A visual learner often notices visual details easily
- Less able to take note of details during a verbal discussion.
- They may find verbal instructions difficult to remember and follow.
- Visual learners often enjoy reading, and may be especially talented at remembering the proper spelling of words.
Auditory
- Auditory learners often enjoy class discussions, and they learn the best through listening and speaking.
- They may enjoy books on tape or read alouds more than individual reading, and they may talk to themselves while reading.
- An auditory learning may gain from speaking through a thought process in order to make a decision or come to a conclusion
- Some auditory learners find it difficult to focus on written instructions or details, but they will remember information if it is put to a tune. They may also enjoy singing and music in general.
KINESTHETIC
- Kinesthetic learners learn through their sense of touch, as well as through physically doing things.
- Learn best through doing hands-on experiments and activities, doing demonstrations, and physically moving as they study.
- Many kinesthetic learners “talk with their hands,” using gestures or motions to get their point across.
- They enjoy being in motion, and may excel in sports or other physical activities. Rewards for a kinesthetic learner should be physical whenever possible.
Visual learners:
• Create mind maps, flow charts, and diagrams using bright colors. Put them where you can view them frequently.
• Practice building your visual memory.
• Rewrite your notes using different colors.
Auditory learners:
• After you read a page in your textbook, summarize the information out loud in your own words.
• Tape your instructor’s lecture, and if you are a commuter, listen to the tape on the way home, either in your car, or on the bus or subway. • Discuss the material that you have been learning with a friend or study group.
Kinesthetic learners
• Use your hands. Cut up charts and diagrams. Create flash cards and move them around with large, sweeping movements.
• Walk and talk the information. Recite as you move.
• Type on a computer keyboard. You are using your muscle memory
MY PERSONAL LEARNING STYLE PLAN:
- Create mind maps ,flow, charts and diagrams using bright colours = I always wanted to make my notes as attractive as possible that can encourage me to read it. I always find to design my notes in Pinterest , its have so many example that I can follow . Such as :

2. Rewrite you notes using different colours= After I done writing my notes , I usually take a piece of blank paper and try to write again the exact notes that I make. It makes me remember more what the topics that i learnt on that day
3.Create flash card and move them around with large ,sweeping movements = I really enjoy using flashcard , its more easier to remember and I can bring it anywhere and anytime I want because it easy to carry and put them in my bag . I always put terms and facts that I hard to remember so if I read it oftenly it will helps me to remember it.
4. Walk and talk the information.Recite as you move= Whenever I walk or jogging I always recite my notes that I have done it on that day or while my friends and I walk to go to class I will talk to them about the topic that we will learn roughly .
10 STEPS TO SUCCEED IN COLLEGE
- Be in class. Being on time and maintaining good attendance are important.
- Take notes. You cannot review the information that is being taught without class notes.
- Turn work in on time. Start early on assignments and break them into smaller chunks.
- Take pride in yourself and your work. Do quality work. If something is worth doing it is worth doing well.
- Set educational and other goals. This will give you a purpose for going to school and this provides self-motivation.
- Set aside enough time to study. To excel in college you need to study at least two hours for every hour you are in class.
- Explain lessons to yourself. This is self-teaching. Read a paragraph in your text and then explain what you learned out loud in your own words.
- Create practice quizzes and tests. Self-testing is powerful. Go through your class notes and textbook. Write down every question you think could be on the test. Then give yourself your own quiz and grade it before you take the one in class.
- Focus your attention. Do not multi-task and divide your attention in class or while reading your textbooks.
- Take care of your brain. Getting enough sleep, exercise, water and good nutrition are important for optimum brain functioning.
